Bungie and Activision have released a new trailer for Destiny 2, focusing on the upcoming Open Beta, set to launch on consoles later this month.

During the Open Beta, players will be able to partake in the opening mission of Destiny 2, join up with friends to complete the three-player co-operative Inverted Spire Strike, and put guns to the mettle in old fashioned PVP, within two competitive multiplayer modes.

Players who have pre-ordered Destiny 2 will be able to access the Open Beta early, on July 18th for PlayStation 4 and July 19th on Xbox One. Everyone else will be able to come in, guns blazing, on July 21st to July 23rd.

Personally, as an on and off fan of the first Destiny, I'm intrigued to see what Bungie has in store to mix up the gunplay and grind for Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 is set to launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6th. A later launch is scheduled for PC on October 24th.
