Gamescom 2017: Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition Brings Adorable Noctis & Co. To Your Pants
Pants pocket, I mean. I ran out of space.
08.22.17 - 11:04 AM

Part of a trio of updates on the ever-growing Final Fantasy XV "universe," Square Enix today announced Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition, coming to iOS, Android, and Windows 10 devices.

The publisher describes Pocket Edition as a retelling: It's the same story as Final Fantasy XV, but presented in an "adorable" (quoted from Square Enix, but I agree with the sentiment) art style, with touch-optimized controls, and told across ten episodes. All ten episodes will be available at launch, with the first available for free.

Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition doesn't have a specific release date yet, but will be available "later this year." Check out the debut trailer now, and first screenshots in our gallery.
