Titled The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I: Kai Thors Military Academy 1204-, the remaster aims to deliver a 4K resolution upgrade of the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel, released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in 2013. The game's physical copy will retail for 3,980 yen, and at a slightly cheaper 3,500 yen for a direct download onto console. The first print copies of the title will include a Class VII-themed sleeve jacket.

Amidst the upgrade to visuals, save data for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I: Kai Thors Military Academy 1204- will be compatible with previous versions of the game. New features have also been announced, including a boost to a stable 60 frames in gameplay, as well as a "High Speed Skip Mode" that will allow players to, at a button press, double the speed of events within the game, and quadruple the speed of battle.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I: Kai Thors Military Academy 1204- looks to be a worthwhile reason to pick up again, or enter the relationships and friendships awaiting you at Thors Military Academy and, personally, I am hoping this comes westward.
