Nintendo has announced that Pokémon Crystal Version will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop in North America, Japan, and Europe on January 26th, 2018. In Europe and Japan, a limited physical edition will also be available (or, at least, a box containing a download code).

As with previous rereleases of the Pokémon games on the eShop, Pokémon Crystal will come with Pokémon Bank capability, as well as wireless trading and battling. Crystal Version also comes with a Time Capsule feature that enables trading with the 3DS versions of Red, Blue, and Yellow, meaning that every Pokémon from across every generation can now be transported to the latest mainline entries, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Players who complete the game will also have a chance to catch the legendary Celebi. You can check out a brief video from Nintendo below.
