Composer Takeharu Ishimoto Departs Square Enix

Takeharu Ishimoto, the composer behind The World Ends With You, Dissidia Final Fantasy, and other popular titles, has announced via Twitter that he has resigned from Square Enix, According to Ishimoto, his resignation is "of his own free will," and starting next year he will be starting freelance work. He also encourages fans to check out next year's Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, which will be the last game from his tenure at Square Enix.



We here at RPGFan wish Mr. Ishimoto the best of luck on his future endeavors, and appreciate his many wonderful contributions to the gaming world.
