Ys VIII Coming to Nintendo Switch This Summer
Plus, an update on those long-awaited localization updates!

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is making its way to the Nintendo Switch, as revealed in today's Nintendo Direct Mini. The game will be available on Nintendo's home console this Summer.

NIS America has also announced a limited edition for the Switch, which comes with the game, a soundtrack CD, an artbook, a Mistilteinn replica letter opener, and a "Codex of Adol Christin: Periplus of the Goethe Sea Writing Materials" hardcover book. The limited edition is priced at $120 USD.

NIS also provided an update on the upcoming PC version of Ys VIII and the long-waited localization updates that will be added across all platforms. The PC version and localization updates (which includes new audio and a revised script) will be rolled out on January 30th. You can find some new screenshots of the revised localization in our gallery.
