Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Set To Arrive on PC Next Month

Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be available for PC on the 1st of February, via Steam, sporting a bevy of improvements unique to the platform.

The PC version of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will contain all of the improvements that the PlayStation 4 version has, as well as a list of key features specific to the PC version. Check out the list below!

  • 60FPS - Ivalice will look better than ever with the game running at 60FPS.
  • Compatible with 21:9 ultra-wide monitors - Up to three HD monitors can be used for a potential 48(16x3):9 experience.
  • New Game Plus and New Game Minus - Post-game content modes are now accessible from the beginning of the game.
  • Three background music options The original, re-orchestrated and soundtrack versions are now available from the beginning of the game.
  • Maximized License Points and Gil - New functionality added to grant players max License Points and Gil from the configuration screen.
  • Full controller support, Steam Trading Cards and more to optimize the PC player experience.

Players that purchase the game through Steam in the first two weeks will receive a 20% discount, a three-track digital music compilation, and a new Steam skin illustrated by iconic series artist Isamu Kamikokuryo.

A special launch program for the PC edition of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age has also been scheduled for Friday, February 2nd at 12:00A.M Pacific. During this program, producer Hiroaki Kato and director Takashi Katano will field questions from Final Fantasy fans on Twitter. The program will be available to watch via the official Square Enix YouTube channel, sporting English subtitles.

A new Collector's Edition has also been confirmed, showcasing Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age in its artistic glory. The edition will contain a collectors steel-book, six art cards depicting both characters and environments present within the game, intricate busts of the Judge Magisters, a digital download code for both the soundtrack and the remaster, all encased in a beautiful box. Players can pre-order this edition for $149.99 USD, exclusive to Square Enix Online Store. Check it out below!
