Monster Hunter: World Getting Street Fighter V Crossover Content But can I Shoryuken a Rathalos? 01.28.18 - 4:52 PM
While I'm sure you're too busy playing Monster Hunter: World to be reading news articles about it, this recently announced crossover may pique the interest of Capcom enthusiasts. Capcom will be adding full sets of armor based on the Street Fighter franchise, which transform your Hunter into either Ryu or Sakura.
These armor sets will be rolled out in a few weeks for players who have save data from Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. Completing the special "Down A Dark, Muddy Path" quest will net players "Street Fighter V tickets", which when brought to the Smithy along with other necessary materials can be used to craft the Ryu armor set. Two new Event Quests will be added in later as well, for the Ryu and Sakura sets. Keep in mind, these armor sets can only be equipped as one single entry: no mixing and matching with your Nergigante armor (although that would look pretty funny, all things considered!).
For players without Street Fighter V save data, the Event Quests required to obtain the armor sets will be rolled out at a later, unknown date. There's also a medley of other Street Fighter content coming to Monster Hunter: World, the pricing of which can be found below.
Guild Card: Bonus Stage (free)
Achievements: Rival, Destined, Living Legend and Bandana Girl (free)
Pose: Shoryuken & Hadoken (free)
Gesture: Street Fighter V Hadoken ($3.99)
Gesture: Street Fighter V Shoryuken ($3.99)
Stamp Set: Street Fighter V Set ($1.99)
