Horror-Themed Visual Novel Death Mark Coming to the West
You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?
07.10.18 - 8:36 PM

Earlier this week at Anime Expo 2018, Aksys Games revealed that the hit horror visual novel Death Mark, originally released in Japan for the Vita, PlayStation 4, and Switch, will be heading westward for all three consoles!

Developed by Experience, the game takes place in a Tokyo metropolitan area called H City. Rumors abound of a mysterious "mark" appearing on people, similar to a birthmark, which heralds the death of its wearer. After a strange incident resulting in a suspicious death, people have begun to associate the "mark" with urban legends, saying that the "mark" belongs to an evil ghost, or comes about due to a malicious curse.

You begin the game with a horrible case of amnesia, standing before a house said to protect those who bear the "mark." As the doors to the house open, you are greeted by a beautiful doll.

"Welcome to Kujou Mansion. You will die if you stay like this. But that doesn't mean that there isn't a way to be saved..."

Death Mark has yet to be given an official release date, but it will be coming to the U.S. and Europe for the PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more news and info!
