Sci-Fi is one of the most popular genres for storytelling. It can be used to both fascinate us and scare us, forcing ourselves to ask some difficult questions. Are we truly happy with the way humans are evolving now? How technology is evolving? And how will this change over time?

State of Mind is one of those games that tries to challenge your perception of the world, and where it's going, and does this through the lens of transhumanism. Intrigued by the game's premise at E3, I stepped into the year 2048 to find out just what challenges may await.
