Bandai Namco has announced a brand-new title in the "Tales of" series that will be coming to Japanese smartphones in the near future. Tales of Crestoria is being designed from the ground up as a mobile title, and features a central theme of "crime," where the protagonist must bear the burden of a crime while also trying to protect something important to him.

Said protagonist is Kanata Hyuga, pictured above. The son of a monk from a small village, he is branded a criminal by the "Vision Orb," which is a magical device that governs who is guilty or innocent of crimes via input from the populace at large. As a result, he learns about "the crooked nature of the world."

A brief concept trailer can be viewed below. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more details on Tales of Crestoria.
