Over the last few years there's been an abundance of Metroidvania. Some have been hugely successful, while others have been a big disappointment. And with Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night delayed until next year, where will you get your next Metroidvania fix? Well look no further than Timespinner.

After years in development, Lunar Ray Games finally released their passion project to the world at the end of September. It celebrates what makes Metroidvania so great while carving its own niche within the genre, something which doesn't rely on new mechanics or reinventing the wheel.
