It's been a good amount of time since we received official news regarding the Final Fantasy VII Remake, but that doesn't mean Square Enix has been slacking off!

In a recent update to Sqaure Enix's official recruitment website, Naoki Hamaguchi, originally the Development Lead for the remake, has now been promoted to Co-Director! This new role comes on the heels of Hamaguchi's permanent addition to Square Enix's 1st Development Division, so it's safe to say things are looking pretty good for Hamaguchi!
