Sword of the Stars: The Pit Review
Procedurally generated in space!

For a series that mostly consists of RTS games, Sword of the Stars: The Pit stands out. This series has a devout group of followers who adore the multitude of races, the space setting and the world. There's even a board game!

The Pit came out in 2013 and is considered by many to be underrated, perhaps sneaking under the radar due to the large amount of roguelikes already on Steam. It even got past us! But now we've fixed that mistake.

Longtime readers of the site might remember Joe Czop, who was a member of the reviews team back in 2013, and now he's back to help us cover those niche little titles as well as some of the more up-and-coming RPGs! So join me in welcoming Joe back to RPGFan and check out his review of Sword of the Stars: The Pit right here!
