On this episode of "Retro" Encounter...

On this episode of Random Encounter:

- Mike returns to the world of Eorzea by resubbing to FFXIV, finishes Octopath Traveler (Tressa rules, btw), and briefly chats about Ys: The Oath in Felghana. If you're interested in that last one, be sure to check out Retro this month!
- Alana tells the gang about a sweet little visual novel called Arcade Spirits. If dating or just being friends with a bunch of cool arcade nerds sounds like fun, this game might be right up your alley.
- Baten Kaitos is a somewhat forgotten GameCube gem, but Alana has plenty of love for it as she engages in a series replay.
- Caitlin is gearing up for this fall's Trails of Cold Steel III by playing all of the Kiseki games she can get her hands on. She's currently halfway through the Sky trilogy, and is having an absolute blast!
- The gang rounds out the episode by chatting about some recent news and answering a listener question about modern classics.

Featuring: Caitlin Argyros, Mike Sollosi, Alana Hagues
