In a recent tweet from Romancing SaGa series director Akitoshi Kawazu, it's been revealed that the upcoming remaster of Romancing SaGa 3 is nearing completion, with more information set to be revealed at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show!
Announced during this year's E3 conference, Romancing SaGa 3 looks to be a faithful remaster of the original Super Famicom version, with enhanced graphics, new dungeons, and new scenarios that were missing from the original version. While this new content will be featured in the remaster, Kawazu assures us that there will be no "significant changes" to the base game, unlike what we saw with the PlayStation 2 remake of the original Romancing SaGa. While I'm sure SaGa fans are chomping at the bit to get more information, I'm afraid we'll have to wait September to find out more!
Romancing SaGa 3 is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation Vita Windows, iOS and Android devices, though the official release date hasn't been announced yet. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more news and info on your favorite games!
