Hunters everywhere will definitely want to check out the latest trailer for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, which introduces a variety of new and returning monsters, a free Guardian Armor set, and a new game system to encourage community-building. With monsters like the returning fan-favorite, Brachydios, and the all-new Elder Dragon, Namielle, Hunters will have no shortage of fearsome foes against which to test their skills. Additionally, the intimidating new Elder Dragon, Velkhana, also makes an appearance in the trailer, creating frozen pillars around the battlefield with its chilling breath. You can see these monsters, new and returning, in action in the trailer below!
Looking for more reasons to return to the New World, or to set out on a frosty expedition around the brand new Hoarfrost Reach region? Look no further, as a free Guardian Armor set will be made available to all players, both in the base title and the Iceborne expansion, starting on September 4th.
This buffed-up armor will offer healthy defense stat boosts along with skills which will be invaluable to surviving in the New World. This upgradeable armor set, which was crafted with new Hunters in mind, can be equipped from the outset of your adventure in Monster Hunter World.
Finally, the new Hunter Helper system will reward high-ranking Hunters for assisting lower level Hunters with exclusive in-game pendants and trophies. It's always a good idea to lend a helping hand because you never know when you might need one more person to join your hunting party!
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will take players on an exciting new adventure when it releases on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 6th, with a PC release planned for later this year.
