The Pokémon Company has released a new trailer for Pokémon Sword and Shield, this time detailing various items and features included in the games to help players better train their Pokémon.

Check out the video below for more information.

As you can see, the new Mint items allow players to adjust the stat-growth of their Pokémon, which are usually influenced by their inherent Natures. The Mints don't change the Pokémon's Nature itself, but instead change which stats will level up the most. Additionally, stat-boosting supplements like Calcium and Iron are making a return, with one big change: you can use as many of these items as you like to maximize a Pokémon's base stats. Exp. Candies are another new item, which allow players to give experience points to their Pokémon.

Players will be able to access their Boxes from just about anywhere: in Towns or in the wild. Additionally, as previously detailed, the game has an optional autosave feature, a first for the series. If you're the kind of trainer who likes giving your Pokémon nicknames, Sword and Shield have you covered: you can change any Pokémon's nickname one time at the Galar region's Pokémon Center, provided you didn't receive the creature in a trade. Additionally, some changes have been made to Egg Moves, special moves learned by Pokémon when they are hatched out of an egg. If two Pokémon of the same species are left at the Nursery together, one of those Pokémon can share an Egg Move with the other.
