Nintendo recently held an Indie Showcase broadcast, offering a first look at a number of independent titles headed to the Switch in the neat future. There are quite a few that fall within RPGFan's purview, so let's take a quick look at what's in store. You can watch the full video here.

First up is a sequel to the surprise hit Golf Story, now with 100% more tennis. Sports Story mixes RPG elements and dungeon crawling with sports gameplay. The game is set to release in mid-2020.

Now this one is interesting. Supermash is a quite literal "mash-up" of different genres, allowing players to select two different kinds of video game and blend them together. Want to combine a JRPG with a platformer? You can do that here. It's a unique concept, and I'll be fascinated to see how it turns out in May 2020.

Get ready to slay some behemoths in Dauntless, which is available now on the Nintendo Switch. If you're looking for a Monster Hunter fix on the go, you can join the 15 million players who have already joined up.

If you're a fan of visual novels/puzzle adventure games, then Murder by Numbers is definitely worth keeping an eye on. A murder mystery set against the backdrop of 80s Hollywood, the game also features music from the composer of Ace Attorney, giving it quite the pedigree! Murder by Numbers will hit the Switch in early 2020.

Now this is my jam. A dungeon crawler/dating sim where your weapons transform into cute anime boys? Sign me up. Boyfriend Dungeon looks like a ton of fun, and I'll definitely be giving it a look in 2020.

Finally, we have Coffee Talk, a visual novel with gorgeous artwork that was shown off in the Japanese version of this presentation. The game will be releasing in Japan on January 30th, 2020, so hopefully that means an English announcement isn't too far off!
