Seminal series protagonist Rean Schwarzer, graduated and educated, is at the center of the story, unveiling conspiracy and touring across the nation of Erebonia whilst teaching an entirely new Class VII the geopolitical ropes, amidst the backdrop and civil conflicts of the previous entries in the series. As it stands, a seminal series at the Legend of Heroes deserves to be experienced by as many willing players, and I believe the move of NIS America and Falcom to do so, with experienced hands, is only a good one.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is available now for PlayStation 4 in Japan, North America, and Europe. A Nintendo Switch version is also forthcoming, releasing in Japan on March 19th, 2020 and during the Spring in North America and Europe. Stay tuned to RPGFan for all news Trails of Cold Steel!
