Kemco has announced the production and upcoming release of Death Match Love Comedy!, a remake of D.M.L.C.: Death Match Love Comedy, a game native to Android and iOS smartphones, dealing with comedy, hijinks, highschool, and love. Check out the teaser trailer below!
The game revolves around the concept of confessions, where the protagonist of Death Match Love Comedy! must avoid confessions of love to him, lest he explode due to a longstanding curse placed upon him. The game itself is a full remake of the Japanese-exclusive smartphone game and will feature new and improved graphics, a scenario chart flow system so that players might see different branching paths of the story, and a narrative that boasts 30 hours of gameplay.
The game will launch digitally on June 25th within Japan for 3,000 yen (roughly $30 USD) on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, via the Steam store. A physical edition will release simultaneously for PlayStation 4 for 3,666 yen (roughly $36 USD). No Western release date has been confirmed as of yet, but if there is, players will hear it first at RPGFan!
