When I first heard about this album, one thought went through my mind: what the hell is an Orgel? Okay, I lied, two things went through my mind, the other being, "I don't care what an Orgel is, I want the album." Not an easy task, though, as this was a limited-production, promo item, and is a very rare album. Still, I have my ways and means, and as soon as I got the album, I had a listen, and my initial question was answered: an Orgel is great.

For those of you who, like me, didn't know what an Orgel is, it's basically a music box you can compose with. Now, music boxes in general make me melancholy because of images associated with them of tenderness, loneliness, and the like. But combine that with the saddest, most emotional tunes from the Suikoden series, such as "Reminiscence" and "ORRIZONTE" and there's no comedy special that can stop these tears from flowin'.

Though only 6 tracks long, this album instantly became one of my top five favorite GS albums, possibly for "Reminiscence" alone, maybe throw in "Moonlit Night" for some support. And while I have a list a mile long of GS tracks I would have rather had played on Orgel than "Noisy Wind" and "The Wind and the Earth" (La Mia Tristezza, Searching for the Flame Champion, etc.), I'm not going to complain, because it would be trivial.

You're most likely not going to find this album outside of eBay, but small as it is, if you're a true fan like I am, you damn well better find it and kill anyone who gets in your way. Yes, it's that good. If you're not a Genso Suikoden music fan, don't touch it, don't listen to it, keep your filthy hands off it, because you do not deserve it. I keel you!
