I found my way into the world of video games when I was seven. It was during a time when players were exploring the stunning world of Final Fantasy VII on PlayStation and collecting stars in Super Mario 64. My own experience began with my GameBoy Pocket and Nintendo 64 where I was first introduced to video games by that well-known, overall wearing plumber.
Over time, I found my true love lay with adventure games and RPGs where I was free to explore massive worlds and foil the schemes of evil villains. Pokémon Blue was perhaps the first RPG I ever played, but the genre had me hooked with Paper Mario and Baldur's Gate II. I don't think I'll ever forget my first encounter with Minsc and his hamster, Boo.
I come from the sunny land Down Under (Australia) where we do not ride kangaroos to work and where koalas are definitely not bears. We tend to miss out on far too many RPGs, but with a growing gaming community we're definitely heading in the right direction. Aside from gaming, I spend my time writing fiction, reading novels, and debating whether or not to buy collector's editions.
I've been writing game reviews since I was twelve, but I'm glad to say I have come a long way since then! I joined RPGFan in May of 2010 and have slowly been picking up the tips and tricks of the trade. I hope my best work is yet to come!
