I have a deep and passionate love for video games that has roots in the earliest days of my childhood. Before I could walk, I was inevitably falling down bottomless pits in Super Mario Bros. 3 or battling Geru, Goriya, and Moblins in The Adventure of Link. At that point, I surely had no grasp of what impact games would have on my life, often serving as the catalyst which would lead me to new avenues. One such change was my first encounter with Super Mario RPG while at an after-school program in elementary school. I was enamored with the sounds, the sights, and the alien battle mechanics. It cemented my love of RPGs, leading me to later become enamored with games like Pokémon, EarthBound, and Golden Sun. By now, you may be asking yourself if I play anything on non-Nintendo platforms. The short answer is yes, but the long answer is, only if I can't play on a Nintendo system.

I wish I could play games all day, but instead, I have been forced to find other activities because my family says playing games all the time can make me seem "reclusive." As a result, I love to spend my free time writing about games, and hope you, too, will enjoy reading my articles! I have hopes that I will someday be able to create a name for myself in games media because if there's one thing I'm passionate about, it's games. I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in East Asian studies, which I use almost exclusively for reading Shigesato Itoi's tweets.

Outside of gaming, I also enjoy playing guitar, sketching, and taking artsy pictures of random miscellany. I'm a Disney fanatic, and I will probably end up trading my soul one day for a lifetime pass to Disney World; provided I can get my soul back from Nintendo for long enough to make the trade. I occasionally enjoy skateboarding, when the sun decides to take a day off, and it isn't unbearably hot out. Green Apple boba tea and pitfire pizza are my true weaknesses. Okay, well, Green Apple anything, really. You're awfully kind to read this far in my bio! This mouse loves you!
