I first got into RPGs as a six year old during the late '90s Pokémon craze when I received a copy of Pokémon Blue. The world was so fascinating to me that I would spend hours on the game trying to build a team of my favorite Pokémon and explore every corner of the Kanto region.

As you have likely figured out by now, I'm a big fan of the Pokémon series and eagerly anticipate each generation as it comes. Since then, I've remained passionate about the genre and have played dozens of Japanese RPGs, adding the Final Fantasy, Tales of and Persona series to my list of favorites.

Being immersed in a game's world and stepping into a character's shoes is an experience that never gets old. The setting plays a large factor in how much I enjoy a game and I find the fantasy worlds of JRPGs to be the most engaging in all of gaming. I found this site years ago and appreciate that it carves its own niche among gaming websites by focusing specifically on RPGs.

As for my life outside of gaming, I work as a marketing assistant at a tech startup in the Bay Area and recently graduated college with a Bachelor's in Communication. My goal is to establish a career in marketing and work at a larger tech company's marketing department. Besides playing video games, I love checking out new restaurants, going to concerts and exercising.

I've been looking forward to writing about RPGs and I hope you enjoy my content.
