I like RPGs. I started with Chrono Trigger, and I've since lost a depressing number of hours to the genre. So what do I look for in an RPG? Story and gameplay. If you don't have both, you might as well not even bother. My favorite RPG series are definitely the Final Fantasy series (as hit and miss as it may be) and the Shin Megami Tensei series (because I love dark, angry games.) While I'm definitely more of a fan of JRPGs, I still have an affinity for Divine Divinity and Deus Ex...perhaps someday, we'll even see a decent sequel to those games. I can't wait.
