As my life winds through a path of changing tastes, one thing always remains constant: I think RPGs are pretty awesome. Whether it's the intricacy of the stories, the intellectually demanding combat tactics, or the mind-numbing relaxation of grinding for ages, RPGs always offer me pleasure.
I'm a 22-year-old Screenwriting student at a Canadian university who wants to one day write stories for video games. That's a passion that school can't take away from me, no matter how many ancient, agonizing documentaries on cameras and tapestries I have to study (why can't I write more screenplays instead?!).
I've been following gaming news and reviews closely since I was a child. There's something exciting about the video game industry's dynamics that gives you a rush almost as powerful as besting a tough, final boss. I'm so excited to be reporting news to what I believe (through my 8 years of lurking the site) is the kindest, smartest, and most passionate bunch of gamers.
Only mention video games when talking to me if you're ready for rants on why Tales of the Abyss is the greatest thing ever. If you disagree, I will kindly listen to your rebuttal, and shake my head in disapproval when you're not looking.
