Xenosaga HD Collection Failed Profitable Market Analysis

Sad news, Xenosaga fans. While speaking to fans on Twitter, Katsuhiro Harada, General Manager of Bandai Namco Entertainment Original IP Game Projects, confirmed the Monolith Soft series “progressed to the remaster’s plan, but failed in a profitable market analysis.”

Originally, the interest for a Xenosaga HD collection stemmed from a Tweet Harada made back in 2014. This inspired a fan online petition.

The Xenosaga series consisted of three main games on the PlayStation 2, a Nintendo DS remake that was never officially translated into English, a visual novel and Xenosaga Episode II demo collection called Xenosaga Freaks, a drama CD, a manga, and an anime series.
