Square Enix has opened up a webpage for the upcoming ReMind DLC for Kingdom Hearts III. This DLC expands upon the climax of Kingdom Hearts III, and adds additional gameplay elements and challenging boss fights to further flesh out the experience.
ReMind is another story that occurs during the climax. Just before heading to the final battle at the Keyblade Graveyard, Sora follows the hearts of the Seven Guardians of Light and experiences each Guardian’s battle.
Players will be able to engage the members of the Real Organization XIII in battle, with these boss fights being significantly more difficult to overcome. Additionally, different characters (including Aqua, Kairi, Roxas, and Riku, among others) will be playable, with all-new cooperative attacks. The base game will also be getting an update with version 1.07, which adds new abilities and the Oathkeeper and Oblivion Keyblades with accompanying Form changes. There are also a few elements that we won’t learn about until a later date: the “Secret Episode & Boss,” “Greeting Mode,” “Slideshow Function,” and “Premium Menu.”
Kingdom Hearts III: ReMind will release for PS4 on January 23rd, 2020, and for Xbox One on February 25th. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more coverage of the Kingdom Hearts series.
