Spirit Hunter: Shibito Magire Hits Funding Goal

On November 25th of last year, developers Experience began crowdfunding for a new game titled Shibito Magire, the third entry in their Spirit Hunter series. With an original goal of 15 million yen, Experience planned to follow through with development of the game, no matter how much they received. Today, we’re excited to announce that Shibito Magire has raised over 18 million yen, with still a week to go!

It’s exciting to know that Experience will have enough money to develop their game, but that doesn’t mean there’s no reason to stop donating! In the event that donations exceed their previous expectations, Experience has already prepared a few stretch goals for Shibito Magire. At 20 million yen, new costumes for the protagonist will be added to the game, as well as extra horror visuals, and a 50% increase in voiced content! At 25 million yen a brand new theme song will be produced for the game, along with implementation of a death scene expression change system, and the addition of former marked characters, who do not currently appear in the game. And finally, upon hitting 30 million yen in donations, Experience will begin working on brand new DLC for Shibito Magire, along with a novelization of the game and a “Spirit Hunter Series Event.” If you’d like to see these stretch goals become a reality, stop on by Campfire and leave a donation today!

Spirit Hunter: Shibito Magire is set to release in the summer of 2021 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more news and info on your favorite games!
