Turn-Based RPG FAIRY TAIL Delayed To June 2020

KOEI TECMO and GUST Studios have announced that the RPG adaption of hit shonen franchise FAIRY TAIL has been delayed for release. The title itself was slated to launch worldwide on March 19th, 2020, but will instead release on June 25th, 2020 for Windows PC systems, via Steam, and one day later, on June 26th, 2020, for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

The delay is a result of the developer, GUST Studio, wishing to take more time to polish the game as a whole, bringing a better final product to bear at launch. Producer Keisuke Kikuchi, of GUST Studios, apologized for the delay, stating that the studio was apologetic towards its “…fans, partners and stakeholders who are looking forward to this title.”, as well as stating that the time used would improve “…the magic effects, event scene effects, improving game balance, and more!”. The updates and improvements to the core build of FAIRY TAIL will be detailed in the coming months to fans and players alike.
