Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Ultimate Edition Now Available

Publisher Versus Evil and developers Obsidian Entertainment have finally released their hit RPG Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One under a brand new moniker, titled Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition!

Available for the first time on home consoles, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition includes all of the major updates for the game, including the expansion packs Beast of Winter, Seeker, Slayer, Survivor, and The Forgotten Sanctum. Players can purchase the game either physically or digitally for $59.99 USD, or splurge and buy the “Ultimate Collector’s Edition” for $129.99 USD which includes the base game plus the above mentioned expansions, a 10″/25 cm statue of Od Nua, a Spacepig key chain, a Metal-optic 3D sticker, and a premium collectors box. Supplies are limited, so check with your local retailers for a chance to obtain this excellent collectors item!

When asked about the release of this new edition of Pillars of Eternity II, Steve Escalante, General Manager of Versus Evil, had this to say:

“Console gamers can fully immerse themselves in an RPG adventure of exploration and discovery in what will be one of the definitive tabletop role-playing experiences available in 2020.”

For those unfamiliar with the title, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is a homage to classic RPG’s of yester-year, featuring enhanced graphics, gameplay, and storytelling unlike anything seen before! Players will explore the Deadfire Archipelago on their very own ship, discovering new lands, races and adventures, where your choices and actions truly matter. Accompanied by companions both familiar and new, players will be able to explore these deep relationships, while building strong bonds with their party.
