Cyber Knights: Flashpoint Exceeds Kickstarter Goal

Environmental disasters are at the forefront of a new game generating excitement in the crowd-funding sphere. Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is a dystopian cyberpunk thriller set in the year 2231. Players will command a company of shadow mercenaries who are battling enemies in New Boston.

The game developers set a Kickstarter goal of $50,000 USD on February 5th. As of press-time, Cyber Knights: Flashpoint has over 1800 backers, and has raised over $85,000 USD. One reason for the success of the Kickstarter campaign can be attributed to Trese Brothers Games award-winning role-playing game Star Traders: Frontiers, which was released in 2017. The crowd-funding campaign is set to end on March 5th.

Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is a turn-based RPG that weaves together tough story choices for players with significant development for their characters. The game boasts both classic and new strategy gameplay mechanics, like stealth, hacking and combat along with base building and squad customization.

The game is expected to be available for Windows, Mac and Linux via Steam Early Access in March 2021. The game will be ported to mobile, with a possible console release in the future.
