NieR Re[in]carnation Showcases Desolate Exploration In First Gameplay Trailer

Square Enix has unveiled the first gameplay trailer for NieR Re[in]carnation, an upcoming mobile game spinoff, recently revealed as part of the NieR franchise’s 10th-anniversary celebrations. Check it out below!

The gameplay trailer, new backing song and tone seem to meld perfectly with the tranquil desolation that NieR as a franchise extols as a common thread and theme, showcasing a young woman and a floating companion, covered with a sheet, exploring ruins dappled in sunlight.

NieR Re[in]carnation is being developed for iOS and Android devices by Applibot, produced by Yosuke Saito (Square Enix), and directed by Yoko Taro, longstanding director and writer of the NieR franchise itself. No release date for NieR Re[in]carnation has been announced as of yet.
