Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia Demo Now Available For Nintendo Switch

Publisher Happinet and developer Matrix Software have released a demo for Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia upon the Nintendo Switch eShop, ahead of its worldwide release on June 25th. Check out an announcement trailer for the demo below!

The demo itself puts players in the shoes of the Norzaleo Kingdom, one of the six playable nations at war with each other across the continent of Runersia, with the option to plan strategic might in one of two available modes of play: Training and Trial. Training will, as detailed in our previousĀ coverage, allow players to work through a tutorial mode teaching them to move troops, invade bases and the general flow and idea of combat. Trial will put the Norzaleo Kingdom front and centre, where players can begin to lay siege across Runersia as they see fit, on Easy Mode difficulty. The demo will end when either 7 bases have been occupied by the Norzaelo Kingdom or 10 seasons have passed in-game. Save data from the demo will not transfer to the full version upon release.

Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia promises players a continent-spanning conflict between the aforementioned six playable nations, all competing with differing ideals, across 40 base locations and 100 unique units to recruit between them, wherein the player must carve a unilateral path to complete victory via turn-based battle on the macro and micro level. Players can currently pre-order the title via the Nintendo eShop, for 49.99 (USD & EUR). Physical editions will open for pre-order on May 1st, via the Limited Run GamesĀ storefront, in both Standard and Collector Editions, retailing at $49.99 and $74.99 (USD) respectively. The Collector’s Edition includes a reversible poster, soundtrack, and an enamel pin of the Gustava emblem.
