Paper Mario: The Origami King Announced for Switch

The Mushroom Kingdom is under attack from another dimension! The Paper Mario series is back and faces one of its greatest foes: Origami! Paper Mario: The Origami King releases for Nintendo Switch on July 17th, 2020.

One day, Peach invites Mario and Luigi to attend Mushroom Kingdom’s origami festival. However, she herself has been during into origami due to the evil of King Olly, the aforementioned Origami King! He transports Peach’s castle to a far distant mountain and brainwashes Bowser’s minions into Folded Soldiers. It is your duty to save the princess and the world from being folded!

Paper Mario: The Origami King includes a variety of new features:

• Team up with King Olly’s good-natured sister and other allies, including Bowser!
• The 1000-Fold Arms abilities grants you the power to stretch and pull the environment, revealing new locations and helping you solve puzzles.
• A new ring-based battle system that requires strategy to win.
