At this point, we already knew Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town was coming to Switch, but XSEED Games today announced that this polished update to what was originally a 2003 Game Boy Advance game (!) is also coming to PC next month.

Now of course, in 2003, the Western release of this game was Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, but since the true Bokujo Monogatari games are called Story of Seasons out here, the game has a new name. Along with the updated moniker, this full remake features new visuals, music, character designs, updated systems, and a completely new translation. Suffice it to say, this is not a simple port!

Check out the brand new trailer and screenshots on our game page for Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town will debut on Switch and PC via Steam on July 14th, and is available to wish list on both platforms now. And yes, if you’re into physical releases, you’ll be glad to know that you can order direct from XSEED and participating retailers. Orders of the physical release from XSEED’s own store (and some retailers) will also net you this Strawberry Cow Pocket Plush, so I don’t see how you could say no to that:
