Arcade Spirits: The New Challengers Announced

Fiction Factory Games is excited to reveal their upcoming visual novel, Arcade Spirits: The New Challengers, a sequel to 2019’s hit game Arcade Spirits! Rather than working in an arcade, we now seek glory by PLAYING in arcade, finding love and victory along the way!

Set in the distant future of 20XX, players take on the role of an aspiring esports athelete, attempting to gain glory in the hit game Fist of Discomfort 2: Pro Tour. Seeking a partner to play with, the player joins of team of gamers who hang out at Good Clean Fun, a combination pizzeria/laundromat/arcade. It’s up to you to gain the trust of your team, discovering their hopes and dreams and helping them achieve their goals. Lay low your rivals, win a few tournaments, and perhaps discover love on your way to become the best esports athlete the world’s ever known!

Arcade Spirits: The New Challengers features six brand new characters to befriend and romance, along with some familiar faces from the original Arcade Spirits. Along with these new characters, players will be able to customize both their personal avatar and rival, designing their clothing, body type, and hairstyles, creating a unique and personal experience for each player! And, of course, The New Challengers will heavily feature an exciting mini-game, Fist of Discomfort 2! While the main focus of The New Challengers involves becoming an esports champion, defeat in Fist of Discomfort doesn’t necessarily equate to failure. Every victory and defeat will shape the course of the game. Will you be an undefeated champion, or an underdog who manages to rise to the top in the end?
