If you’ve been on the fence about playing Final Fantasy XIV, now is the time to jump in. Square Enix has announced that they will be expanding the game’s free trial to include the Heavensward expansion pack, allowing players to experience the MMORPG for free up until level 60. All of the epic quests, job classes, and gameplay features added in Heavensward can soon be experienced by newcomers without paying a dime for the game. Neat!
This news comes alongside a brand-new trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers‘ Patch 5.3, which will be concluding the Shadowbringers story and adding a whole bunch of new content to the game on August 11th. This includes a more streamlined version of the A Realm Reborn questlines, allowing players to get to the real meat of the game faster.
