Two figures, one with pink hair and one with blue, on a grid map. The map has a log ramp up to a mountain to the right of the figures. Some squares are highlighted in green, so as to perform an action.

Peony and her magical companions will soon start their mystical adventure! Fae Tactics, a turn-based tactical RPG inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics, releases for Steam and the Humble Store on July 31st. We got to see more of this game back at the PC Gaming Show in June, and it looks beautiful.

Here’s a the description of the game from the publishers, Humble Games:

In Fae Tactics, you follow a young magic-user named Peony on her journey across a vibrant world full of mystery and danger. Summon allies, cast spells, and befriend a motley crew of characters as you dive into the growing conflicts between man and magical beings known as fae.

Fae Tactics is both a homage and a sleek improvement of the glory days of Turn-Based Tactical games such as Final Fantasy Tactics.
