Twitch Sunday: SaGa Frontier

SaGa Frontier Twitch Banner

It’s still hard to imagine that the game we’re streaming this Sunday was the seventh entry in the SaGa series, yet the first one to be released in the West under the SaGa name. Other titles used the “Final Fantasy” title in the US back then. Makes you really glad at how many more games are released worldwide these days. SaGa Frontier made its way here in 1998, at any rate, and we’ll be enjoying a retro vibe with beautiful music by Kenji Ito and illustrations by Tomomi Kobayashi. Join in the fun today at 1pm PDT / 4pm EDT with Scott via our Twitch channel or Twitch page.

Fun side quest fact: This game originally had nine stories, but two were scrapped for being “too comedic”.
