Publisher Aquaplus has announced a collaboration that brings beloved franchises Dokapon and Utawarerumono together! The new title is called Dokapon UP! Mugen no Roulette and will be developed by Sting.
It features the final vocal work of late industry veteran Keiji Fujiwara, who passed away on April 12th earlier this year. Fujiwara is remembered for roles such as Reno in Final Fantasy VII Remake, Axel in Kingdom Hearts 3, and as doting dad Maes Hughes in Fullmetal Alchemist. Fujiwara voiced the role of Haku in Utawarerumono, which we’ll get to hear in this upcoming title.
The game will be coming to Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation 4, and launch on December 10th. Full details on gameplay are due out tomorrow, August 6th via Famitsu.
