Are you excited for PlayStation 5 but not sure what platform to get Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy on? You’re in luck! Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Gust announced the latest entry in the alchemy-focused RPG series will have a PlayStation 5 version when all other platforms launch. Furthermore, PlayStation 4 owners will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version free of charge, whether you bought the game physically or digitally.

In other news, Atelier Ryza 2‘s theme song, “Somewhen, Somewhere…”, is being performed by the Japanese trio Clammbon. Also, Koei Tecmo gave us a glimpse of the game in action along with a sample of the video game’s sound track. You can check them out in the videos below.

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy releases for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on December 3rd in Japan. The Steam release for Japan will be available in January 2021. As for the West, the game will launch on all aforementioned platforms sometime this winter.
