Thunderful Publishing and developer Image & Form have announced that the recently released SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech is now available on iOS and iPadOS devices. Originally released in 2019, SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech acts as a spin-off to the popular SteamWorld franchise, replacing underground action-platforming with a hybrid gameplay loop of card-based battling, RPG levelling and sidescrolling exploration. Brj√°nn Sigurgeirsson, CEO of Thunderful Publishing, expressed pleasure at bringing SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech to a broader audience, stating the port was to ‘…share its success with as many people as possible…’ and that they ‘…can’t wait for players to experience it on iPhone and iPad.’
