Thunderful Publishing and developer Image & Form have announced that the recently released SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech is now available on iOS and iPadOS devices. Originally released in 2019, SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech acts as a spin-off to the popular SteamWorld franchise, replacing underground action-platforming with a hybrid gameplay loop of card-based battling, RPG levelling and sidescrolling exploration. Check out a trailer for the title below!

Brjánn Sigurgeirsson, CEO of Thunderful Publishing, expressed pleasure at bringing SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech to a broader audience, stating the port was to ‘…share its success with as many people as possible…’ and that they ‘…can’t wait for players to experience it on iPhone and iPad.’

SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech tells the story of a band of potential heroes who, as seen above, travel across a world infused in both tones of steampunk and classical fantasy. Players will control these heroes, in turn-based-battling using over 100 unique cards to concoct devious strategies in which to fell foes, with martial or magical might.
