Strategy RPG Black Legend to Release on March 25

A foggy medieval city in Black Legend.

Use your wits and your team of mercenaries to take down crazed alchemists and cruel cultists in Warcave’s new strategy RPG, Black Legend. You can check out the official trailer below.

At a glance, Black Legend’s grid-based will feel familiar to fans of the strategy RPG genre, but what sets the game apart is the customization it offers when it comes to the player’s units. Each team member can change into any of the game’s 15 unlockable classes. You can run a party of all alchemists in one battle if you want, and then change your units back to a more well-rounded party when you get stuck. Team members can even learn cross-class skills, so if you love optimizing your RPG teams, this is the game for you.

Beyond the strategic gameplay, Black Legend also includes the explorable city of Grant. In between fights, players can freely investigate the city’s alleys to find treasure, quests, or one of the many monsters inspired by Belgian, Dutch, and German folklore.

If you’re looking for your next strategy RPG kick, Black Legend releases on March 25 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox One Series X, and Steam.
