Steve Jackson’s Sorcery! Makes its way to Switch in 2021

Did you ever play Steve Jackson’s single-player printed adventure books back in the day? Or did they pass you by like they did me? Whether Sorcery! is nostalgic for you or you’ve never heard of it before, you’ll have a chance to experience the video game version of the franchise on Switch later this year.

No Gravity Games partnered with developer Inkle to produce Sorcery! Parts 1-4 for the PC and mobile, and now the pair are bringing the series to Nintendo Switch. The gameplay is like a video game version of a pen and paper game, right down to the included tabletop maps and miniatures. Like the books the games are based on, Sorcery! is an adventure game in a medieval fantasy setting with a focus on player choice when faced with challenges.

Sorcery! is already available on PC and Mobile and will release on Nintendo Switch in Q3 2021.
