The Longing Released on Nintendo Switch

The Longing Logo

Have you ever wanted to play a game about waiting? The Longing explores real-life time as a game mechanic. You take the role of a lonely shade tasked with waiting for a king to wake up after 400 days. Not to worry, though, the game gives you lots of ways to pass the time. You can explore caves, solve puzzles, or even read the complete text of Moby Dick!

This may not sound appealing at first blush, but The Longing provides an experience that’s hard to find in any other game. The Switch version of the game released on April 14th for $14.99, just after it was announced at Nintendo’s Indie World.
