Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is here, and it’s brought the beloved science fiction trilogy to modern hardware with aplomb. But there’s always room for improvement, and the latest patch for the collection offers a slew of quality-of-life fixes that is sure to make any Spectre agent’s job a little easier.
You can find the full patch notes here, but let’s go over a few highlights. English spoken language can now be selected separately from subtitle language, which is nifty. The lighting in several pre-rendered cinematics has been adjusted after they were accidentally rendered darker than intended in a past update. Issues with unlocking certain trophies/achievements have been resolved, as well as issues with certain PC hardware configurations, like Virmire.
