Loot River is the Dark Souls of Tetris, and I am Here For it

Now, here’s a sentence I never thought I’d type: Loot River is a dungeon-crawling roguelike that takes inspiration from both Dark Souls and… Tetris. Yes, our Retro Encounter April Fools Day joke has come to life, and it looks kind of incredible!

In Loot River, players will explore by shifting the ground beneath them in a manner that resembles the block puzzles of Tetris. As they do so, they’ll find new weapons and permanent upgrades, meet travelers lost in the catacombs, and fight deadly bosses. The game will release on the Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles, as well as for PC via Steam.
