Pokémon’s upcoming 5v5 MOBA, Pokémon UNITE, finally got a new trailer last week, and it was accompanied by a release date of July 2021 on Nintendo Switch, and September 2021 on mobile devices. You can check out the new trailer below.

This trailer dropped alongside a few key details about how Pokémon UNITE works.

The game combines traditional MOBA elements such as starting at level one each game and roles like attacker, defender, and support, with a cast of some of your favorite Pokémon.

As players participate in 5-on-5 battles with other trainers, they can climb the ranks from Beginner to Master. With each battle, trainers will also collect currency they can use to unlock new Pokémon, held items, and cosmetic options for their Pokémon of choice.

Pokémon UNITE will also launch with a Battle Pass. All players will have access to the basic pass for free and can use paid currency to upgrade it for faster progression and exclusive items.
